We had a pretty quiet Christmas, with just the inlaws here. We decided not to overwhelm Ameli with presents, so although there were about eight bits and pieces under the tree for her, we spread opening them over the course of Christmas eve and Christmas day so that she had a chance to actually play with each item before opening the next. I’m really pleased we did that as it worked really well and she got to spread the excitement out.
She also really loved ‘helping’ everyone else open their presents. This Christmas I passed on a tradition to her. Historically I’ve always handed out the presents – this year I let her do it. What better time for new traditions.

These are fantastic! Your sweet girl looks so happy in her Christmas dress. Oh, and cinnamon rolls are our traditional Christmas morning breakfast, too 🙂
