Some beautiful moments this week. Maybe not the best photos, but good moments and good memories.

Day 52/365 – Out for a walk

We went out for a walk, despite it being so hot. I am borrowing a wrap from a friend, and you may think it’s crazy to wear that in this weather, but I just need to keep Aviya close at the moment. We both seem to need it.

I get a lot of criticism from various sources because Ameli can be quite rough and sometimes a little picky on Aviya, but this has to be one of my favourite photos ever. Aviya was struggling to walk among the twigs and things, and Ameli walked over to her, took her hand, and said ‘Come Little Darling, I’ll help you walk out of here’. *melt*

Day 53/365 – Of Unicorns and Fairies

We went to our second Family Evening at Kidz Paradise in Welshpool and the girls had a fantastic time. Here Aviya’s riding a unicorn, and loving it.

Day 55/365 – Cupcakes

My mama loves my cupcakes. They’re good, I agree. But my mama loves them, so I made them for her.

Day 55/ 365 – Fairs and Fun

My mother is doing so well, it’s a little confusing. We went to a fun day for families, and here they are all watching a magic show.

Day 57/365 – Sleepy Time Cuddles

Isn’t it funny how the worst picture, photographically, can be the sweetest? My mother and Aviya were lying on the bed and my mom was singing to her to get her to sleep. I didn’t want to interrupt, so just stuck the camera in without the flash or anything. It doesn’t have be to be clear and bright to be awesome and memorable, does it?

Thanks for joining us for our week in pictures!

Mamatography 2013 Week 9: Sugar And Spice And All Things Nice

  1. You are such a gorgeous mama in that first picture. My babe has been going through a similar period of needing to be close to me, except that he has also started running away every time I put on the carrier.

  2. Gosh, it looks SO hot there!

That picture of Ameli helping Aviya is just the sweetest thing ever. And as for the photo of your mum singing Aviya to sleep, you are right, the best photos don’t have to be perfect photographically. One of my favourites from when Oscar was born was one I took on my phone after waking in the hospital and snuggling Oscar to send to daddy to say “we’re awake, come visit us”. It was dark but it was so precious.

I’m behind again on Mamatography… think I’m going to have to post my photos either fortnightly or monthly as I just never seem to find the time each week at the moment!
