A little something not child birth or baby specific for you today – we have a bottle of Earth Friendly Chamomile Body Lotion up for grabs.
Regular readers will know that I’m not a fan of products that contain Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLS) or any of it’s family members, so I’m always pleased to find products that don’t. We have a family history of severe eczema, so I avoid anything that could trigger or exacerbate eczema in Ameli. This product does use SLL, however, which is derived from sodium salt of lactic acid (something you find in the body naturally), but far as I can tell there are no hazardous effects from this.
The Mandarin Shampoo and Bodywash is hypoallergenic and has over 70% certified organic ingredients. Their products are not tested on animals.
It’s a lovely refreshing and invigorating fragrance, and doesn’t dry the skin out in the way many other products do.
We’re also using Minty Lavender Handwash which is just as lovely. It’s a very minty smell, with only an undertone of lavender.
So, what do I think?
I think they’re lovely products, although people with allergies might still have problems. For the majority of people, however, these are lovely affordable, easy to find products.
