Last year I wrote about the BecoPotty by BecoThings, a fantastic environmentally friendly potty. Today I’d like to introduce to you its new relative:
Ameli is such a tall child that at 18 months she can reach up to the basin in the bathroom, and grab toothpaste and a toothbrush. (Any toothbrush. She’s not fussy who it belongs to!) But she cannot yet reach the water to turn it on or off. While potty training is also, shall we say, a work in progress for us, she’ll soon need to be able to reach the taps. And having a step up to the loo might not hurt either, later on!
Being made of bamboo rather than plastic, the BecoStep is heavier, and therefore less likely to topple over, sending your youngling flying head first into the bath, for example. The wide base is supported by rubber strips on the feet, preventing slip sliding around bathroom floors too. And, finally, the top of the BecoStep has raised contours, making sure little feet have a firm grip.
And then, my favourite thing about BecoThings, is their answer to what do you do with it once baby no longer needs it? Easy. Turn it into a plant pot, planter, or indoor herb garden.
