How quickly Wednesdays come around at this point in my life! We spent an incredible week away as a family. Ameli and I relaxed, spent time in the warm pools, made log fires, and went for drives in the game reserve.
On Friday we went to one of the towns I grew up in, to visit old friends. They took us to watch Rugby, with the team from our province playing the team from theirs. (That’s the Bulls vs Pumas, in case you were wondering!)
If you follow me on Facebook, you’ll know that on Sunday things took a turn for the worse for me, and I was taken ill. It’s been a long hard week, but we’ve made it through!
Main Picture: Here we have Ameli excited about the pre-game (in my mind, anyway). Top right: Just in time for the game, fast asleep in Daddy’s arms. Bottom right: One of the multiple tries of the match. Bulls (our team) beat Pumas (the local team) something rediculous like 86-5.
@Momma Jorje, Thanks Momma Jorje. A secret between me and you? I’m not really a sport fan either, but for the odd (like every few years) day out, it’s a bit of fun 🙂 I’ll watch international games, for the sake of patriotism or something, but that’s about as far as it goes! Glad you liked the pictures and thanks for stopping by!
Very nice framing. Loved watching rugby in college. My cousins play on a circuit over in Wales. She looks so comfy before the match.
@The ArtsyMama, Thanks for your comments! I am not a huge sports fan, but it was good for a fun day out!
Visiting from Natural Parents Network!
Very nice! I’m not a sport fan, but always love photos of babies in Daddy’s arms. The main pic is also cool. Sounds like you guys had a great time.
So glad you’re feeling better!
What lovely pictures. I love those curls! I’ve never seen a rugby match, but it looks like a good time. I love going to ballgames with my family and friends — but mostly to hang out and eat the stadium food. 😉
@Lauren @ Hobo Mama & NPN, Lol Lauren… said like a true pregnant Mama! I must admit it’s more about the company for me too!
