The Little Green Sheep is a lovely organic baby products company who currently have gorgeous Christmas Stockings available. These are really lovely gifts and would make a lovely Christmas present for baby’s first, or to spoil mum.

There are three stocking options – a massage stocking, a bathtime stocking an a bedtime stocking, and they vary in price from £19.95 to £29.95.

We received the Bathtime stocking to review, and here are our thoughts:

The Organic Wash Mitt is meant for massaging delicate skin. The Mitt will fit any size hand – in fact if you have really small hands it might come off quite easily, but since you’re doing a gentle wash rather than a heavy scrub, it shouldn’t be a problem.  The inside is soft on your hands and the outside is more rough, but only enough to stimulate the skin.

The Organic Cocoon wrap is a really unusual bath towel, very much the most unique I’ve ever seen. It has a hood, which you expect from baby towels these days, but it also has a foot pouch for keeping my February/March baby’s feet warm, which is great.  It is soft and lovely and 100% organic.

With the bathtime stocking, you also receive an Organic Shampoo and Body Wash.

The shampoo  has a lovely fresh lavender aroma, due to lavender oil in it, but it also contains aloe vera for soothing the scalp. There are some chemicals in it, although most of these are all natural or organic in origin, but you need to keep an eye to make sure your baby doesn’t have a reaction to any of the ingredients. That said, these ingredients are still way milder on baby’s skin than most mainstream options.

The baby body wash is also made of 80% organic ingredients and contains lavender to calm and relax baby. Again, it’s not 100% chemical free, but is milder than most of what you’ll find on the shelves.

All in all it’s a lovely gift set, and a great idea if you’re still looking for a pressie.
