You know how sometimes you wear something that the simple act of wearing changes how you feel? And you know how rare that is when you’re pregnant? Or even worse, when your post baby belly hangs just a little over those pre-pregnancy jeans?

Well, Amoralia sent me a nursing top that I am loving. It’s a nursing T-shirt which is a nice change from some of the other nursing tops I have that are very form fitting – although those are perfect for wearing under this one.

I wish that's what I looked like in this top. Alas, it's a stock photo! It's pretty much what I feel like though!

What’s great about this particular nursing blouse is that it is a shirt with a loose front panel, like a second layer to the front of the shirt, which lifts up to expose a side opening breast part, making for easy nursing. But the loose front panel hangs lightly down over the breasts and hides some of that newly post-partum belly.

It also makes for discreet breastfeeding, should you wish to be discreetly feeding without a cover. The front can either be scrunched up above the baby so as to hide some of the face, or it can actually go over the baby’s head to hide the nursing baby completely.

The material is beautifully soft and I actually feel great when wearing it.

The only negative I have to this particular item of clothing is that it’s white. I love it, it looks great, but it gets so dirty with a clambering toddler and spitting newborn! Even so, it washes well, dries quickly and doesn’t require ironing, so it’s a winner all round.

Amoralia Nursing Clothes Review

  1. If I won’t the £50 I would put it towards the tutti frutti nursing bra and matching underpants. I never treat myself and don’t have any matching sets 🙁

  2. I’d be practical and put it towards buying a Second Skin Bra and a Nursing T. Or maybe treat myself to one of the fancier nursing bras…

  3. Ooo! Such pretty things that I have been living without!!!! I would top up on some lovely nursing bras – starting with the tutti frutti stripe. 🙂

  4. Ooo what a lovely selection of nursing underwear! Very excited to see some gorgeous bras for a change, I think I’d use the voucher on the blue tutti frutti set 🙂 x

  5. I am wearing all my old stuff, would love a new bra, but can’t really justify the cost! The cupcake style is lovely, so are the pj sets

  6. I love frilly nursing vest. Some of the bras are gorgeous, shame they only go up to G cup. It’s difficult to find sexy nursing bras in larger sizes – I’m 38H
Two entries – FB page liked.

  7. I like the cotton nursing tops – like the one pictured here or the orchid pleasted nursing top on the site. Might just look through the sale items and get a nursing bra too. 🙂

  8. I would buy the Glamour nursing bra, after several yrs of BF I could do with something with some Glamour

  9. I would get the PJ nursing set – perfect for on the ward/first few days of visitors whilst having a tiny new baby

  10. Oh my their bras (especialy nursing bras) are so beautiful and sexy too. Last time round with my daughter i had plain boring tshirt bras. 11. I would buy the Nougatine nursing bra in blush/black as I think it would, as well as bringing comfort, bring a little glamour into my life! Any change left over I would put towards the matching Nougatine briefs, so pretty 🙂
