We walked through the front door and straight into a horrid tummy bug that seems to be doing the rounds at the moment. That, on top of the flight and the jet lag and the general draining of the last few months really wiped us all out and there were no great outings or anything this week – we were just paddling to keep afloat in an overwhelming ocean.
93/365 – Oros Man
Does anyone know what I’m talking about when I talk about the Oros Man? It’s this guy:
Anyway, since we’ve been back, we’ve pretty much dressed like Oros men. We went out on Wednesday, and my poor little Aviya had her first trip out as the Oros Man. Funny, but oh so uncomfortable.
It was worth it though, we got to spend the afternoon with friends, something all three of us really needed.
95/365 – Animal Farm
A garden centre not too far from us had a ‘meet the animals’ day. It was really too cold to enjoy it, so it took us longer to get there and back than we actually spent there, but oh well, you win some you lose some. Ameli had a go at ‘milking’ the ‘cow’, which was pretty good and a nice opportunity to explain milk, cows and nursing in nature to her. We ran into a few friends there and all went to a very cool play area within the garden centre. It was just uncomfortably cold though, so we didn’t stick around too long.
96/365 – A Moment In Time
My princess. My beautiful girl. She has a wicked sense of humour, and she makes me laugh so much. I’m one lucky Mama.
97/365 – The Park
We had the first bit of sunshine since we’ve been home today, so we escaped from the lurgies and sickness bugs at home for some Vitamin D. I love my girls so much.
This is me. The luckiest Mama in the world.
98/365 – Moments
Sometimes we can get so swept up in staying alive, we forget the small details, the little moments. This picture is so one day I’ll look back and remember the tiny feet, and the time my girls let me dress them in what I thought was cute.
99/365 – Mama Win Day
Remember when I told you what a Mama Win Day is? Well, this was a MWD. We painted, did water play, made cards, played with sensory objects. Yay for Mama.
Thanks for joining us for our week in pictures. Have a look and see what everyone else is up to!
I *love* the socks snap…too cute, and you’re right – thanks for the reminder to capture those memories x
It’s all passing so fast. It makes me quite sad 🙁
