Are you tired of hearing me say how we’re in a weird kind of limbo yet? Well, we are. Next week (to these pictures) Daddy arrives. That’s about all there is to say about the here and now.

Day 60/365 – Birthday Party Invitations

We spent some time making paper invitations for Aviya’s first birthday party in a few weeks time. In each ‘sealed with a heart’ sandwich bag (sorry environment!) is a balloon (sorry again!) tied to a string, tied to a scroll held together by a fairy sticker. The idea is when the balloons come out of the bag, the helium lifts them into the air so it looks like a fairy delivering mail by fairy post – aka balloon.

Day 62/365 – Friends Are Friends Forever

My friend Tanya and I haven’t seen each other for more than a couple of hours in nearly fifteen years, yet in the last month I’ve been able to spend a couple of evenings with her and her five beautiful children and my children have loved every minute of it, as have I. We talk, we look after our children, we spend time together. Our children run around the garden playing with water and jumping on the trampoline. She’s an amazing mama.

Day 64/365 – Bubbles

We’re back home again and my  mother is feeling energetic, so she spends some time blowing bubbles with the girls. We have this amazing big bubble wand that is just perfect for the hugest bubbles and the girls love it. The paving has just been re-laid after some building work, and the girls love being able to be outdoors at home again.  I love these bubble photos so much, I’ve added a few of them.

Thanks for joining us for our week in pictures!mtbadge2
